Keep your friends close....
...and your enemies closer, I guess eh Steve? Davey only TWO WEEKS AGO described himself as your party's "worst enemy"!! Wow! What a change of heart!! Davey told the Vancouver Sun editorial board just LAST MONTH that voting Conservative was like going down "a black hole"!! No shit! This is soooooooo much worse than what Belinda did last year. At least Belinda's politically-motivated move - and let's be clear, it WAS politically-motivated - took place a year after she took office as a Conservative. At least she didn't just finish saying thank you to her campaign workers and constituents, and then add, "Oh, by the way...fuck you all very much, I'm crossing the floor!!" I wonder if they've even cleaned up all the confetti from Emerson's election night party at his Liberal campaign office?! This is just such a stunning, in-your-face maneoeuvre by both Harper and Emerson, it is almost beyond belief. Accountability? Integrity? Give me a fucking break!!

Don't even get me started on the Michael Fortier fiasco...
 :argh:

1. I feel there is a huge difference in Stronach's & Emerson's changing sides
Don't forget Stronach was new to politics and perhaps (I'll give her the benefit of the doubt here) was unaware of all the neanderthals in the new Conservative party. She took a year to evaluate them and when she found she could no longer stomach them, she crossed over. I don't believe in crossing over at all, but if it is going to be allowed, there must be a period of time (a year?) to sit as a member in the party one is elected in, before it is permitted to cross. What Emerson did seems fraudulent to me.
