As a pertinent sidebar to this latest development in the State and now Federal investigations at Brown County Mental Health Center, I remind all readers of the threads in which I stated that I have a major civil rights case.

The Director of Brown County Mental Health Center is Dr. Koti Mannem.
He should be prosecuted for what he did to me on and off Unit 7. I've contacted many civil rights attorney's licensed by the State Bar of Wisconsin about this.

I've written to County Supervisor Allen Parks, who wouldn't back down in his investigation of BCMHC.

Anyone in Wisconsin have any legal advice, PM me.

who pays if you win your suit? Will the county be the responsible party?

Is anything happening in the investigation? I know these things sometimes move aggravatingly slow but at least I hope it's still moving in the right direction.

of dollars of renovation-there are bigger things going on here locally and Carol Kelso had better have the answers on that.

7. I misspoke, the issue of renovation and funding is currently stalled.

Some supervisors want a new Brown County Mental Health Center.
I demand new administration with State and Federal oversight for a few years. I want some justice for people that were actually the victims of crimes there. I don't want any more Medicare fraud.

8. Update: The adolescent unit will be closed, this was announced

on local news this morning by Carol Kelso. (no link available)

There has been Medicaid and Medicare abuse and fraud at Brown County Mental Health Center, not just in the adolescent unit.

So far the Director, Dr. Koti Mannem, has been publicly silent on all this.

9. Brown County Board votes to consider new mental health center

Here's the latest spin on this quiet scandal, now Carol Kelso wants to consider building a new facility.

I wonder what they are doing about some of the "allegations" against Brown County Mental Health Center employees raised in a letter last December?

No one has apologized for these "allegations"-there are far worse things that have happened at BCMHC. Medicare fraud and abuse pale in comparison to the harm that came to some clients. Crimes have been committed.

The BCMHC Director, Dr. Koti Mannem, has been kept out of the public spotlight for far too long.

It's his responsibility for what goes on there.

10. Update: The Brown County district attorney will review a renewed complaint

by Supervisor Pat Collins that a citizen task force on the mental health center constitutes a governmental body and should be open to the state Open Meetings Law.
