WASHINGTON — Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner racked up $168,000 in travel expenses covered by private groups since 2000, more than any other member of Congress, according to a report released Tuesday.
The nonpartisan analysis by Political Money Line showed Sensenbrenner, R-Menomonee Falls, took 19 privately financed trips to locales ranging from Taiwan to Guatemala and Germany between January 2000 and earlier this year.
Five members of Congress took 51 or more trips, but none ran up as large a tab as Sensenbrenner, who allowed private groups to also pay the expenses of his wife, Cheryl, on eight of them and his son, F. James Sensenbrenner, on the trip to Guatemala.
Sensenbrenner’s office did not immediately return a phone call or an e-mail seeking comment.

Do we have a Demopedia file started for Sensenbrenner? I think this would be good info to have for the next election cycle.
