1. Hard to say at this point
If Tommy T. runs it will be a battle. I doubt any other Rethug could dent his armor. So I guess we will have to wait and see who runs.

3. No, he can't
Kohl would get SLAUGHTERED by Thompson. He is not the campaigner that Feingold is. Thompson mentioned the SENATE seat being up in '06, not the governorship. However, Kohl would beat any other Republican who entered the race. I am just back from DC, and that word is NO ONE but Tommy could beat Kohl, and there is heavy pressure on him to enter the SENATE race in 2006, and not the Governor's race. Bottom line: If TT enters the race, Kohl is TOAST, if not, Kohl wins. If Tommy runs, the GOP will POUR tons of money into Wisconsin, if not, they will write it off.

4. PS
The GOP is going to make the Senate races in the Upper Mid-West the battleground states in 2006, just like the South was in 2004. They think they have a great shot at taking out Kohl with Tommy, Dayton with Kennedy, and both Nelsons, and Stabecow.

7. Maybe
Sorry, I screwed up the spelling of the name. Stabenow CAN suvive, as she is not as vunerable as Dayton or Kohl, but it is to my understanding that there is a very tough GOP woman, a State Senator or something like that, who might run against her. Anyway, it will probably be a dogfight, whomever runs against her.

8. He won't be happy in the private sector
TT will not be happy in the private sector, no matter how much money he makes. He has such an ego, that he NEEDS constant press attention and limos and crowds. You don't get that in private business, lol. Yeah, he will be back.

9. Doesn't Thompson have a mistress?
Seems I heard that he was having an affair in Washington. Couldn't that news be spread around Wisconsin to diminish his image with the people with "values?"

10. Yes... but don't go there
Everybody knows that he has never lived with his wife, and they are estranged, and has had affairs, and for some reason they give him a pass on it. Could you explain why this has NEVER been reported? Also, I wouldn't go into ANYBODY'S lifestyle, as Kohl is gay, and not an open one. HE WOULD BE OUTED, you can bet your bottom dollar. If we lay into Tommy on affairs, we would be opening up a MAJOR can of worms, that would backfire on us. Look what happened when the Vice President's gay daughter was brought into the mix. However, having said all that, I will re-post a PUBLIC scene I PERSONALLY saw with TT. This may be the mistress. Tell me if this is what you have heard. Enjoy!!!

Don't think he has a singing nun now, but I PERSONALLY saw some his TOTALLY improper conduct. A friend of mine took me to a private party of his, during the GOP convention in NY, and there was no girlfriend there, but he WAS all over a gorgeous brunette, who looked like a young Elizabeth Dole. Everybody said he had gone nuts about her, she is from California, and a Bush and GOP Senate insider. It was REALLY OBVIOUS, and everybody was shocked and embarassed. Some of the press was there, and for some reason, kept quiet. This may be the reason he wants to stay in DC. People at the party were saying the wife had FINALLY had it with him. I wonder why.

14. Let's not go THERE
You would have to knock out Kohl in a contested primary... which would give the seat to the GOP for sure.

12. Not so fast
He will NOT win if Tommy enters the race. He now has a BIG bulls-eye on him, now that Dayton is gone. If TT doesn't enter the race then he can survive.
