well i don't respect deanna farve anymore either

saw this on rachel last night. D farve is a spokeman for an organization that is so anti aborthion they would want to outlaw birth control.
You would think with the way her husband send wieny pictures that she would be very much in favor of birth control.....
to brett and his family--stay the hell down south where you belong.

Deanna Favre was a guest speaker at controversial anti-birth control banquet (video)

2 Comments In case you’re not familiar with Mississippi politics — and I can see no reason why you wouldn’t be — they’ve got something on the ballot in November called Initiative 26, or the Personhood Amendment. In short, it’s an amendment to the state constitution that would declare that life begins at the moment of fertilization, therefore making all forms of abortion, and even some forms of contraception, illegal. Crazy? Sure. But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some big names behind the effort.

One is former Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, who was the keynote speaker at the Yes on 26 Kickoff Banquet in Jackson, Miss., earlier this month. Also speaking at that banquet was Deanna Favre, wife of wandering hobo quarterback Brett Favre. Yep.

To repeat, Brett Favre’s wife is a major supporter of an amendment that would declare a person’s rights begin at the moment of conception. I’m not even sure how you pinpoint that: Does a tiny ref throw his hat? Are replays allowed (“He’s taking a long time under that hood …”)? How many challenges do you get?

Deanna Favre has been an activist in the best sense of that word, having founded the Deanna Favre Hope Foundation to raise money and awareness for women with breast cancer, of which she is a survivor. But that doesn’t excuse her going off the rails and visiting crazy town (my opinion), supporting an idiotic ballot amendment like this. We’ve finally figured out a way to keep Brett off of our football fields. Now can we also find a way to keep religion out of politics, and women’s bodies?
