Rules for Collecting Recall Signatures of 8 GOP Senators
For those who might now know this,

You can collect signatures in any district as long as you are an eligible Wisconsin Voter (You do not have to live in the district represented by the Senator(s) for which recall efforts are in place).

Signatures may be collected in ANY district, as long as the signers reside in, and are eligible voters in, the district the Senator represents. They do not have to be registered to vote even--just eligible to vote.

Recall petition forms can be printed out here:

http://www.recalltherepublican8.com/?page_id=5

You have to register to print them out.

1. As a circulator
you MUST WITNESS the signing of the petition, and fill out and sign the section at the bottom of EACH PAGE. You cannot leave the petition unattended (eg, at a table at a rally or store).

As a circulator, it is your responsibility to make sure the printed name/address, etc. are complete and legible. Don't leave the door open for challenge of any of the signatures you collect.

I'm a hard-ass nit-picker, but that's part of what helped me manage a successful recall election against a local official here.

And please, as you're circulating petitions, tell people to verify their current registration at

https://vpa.wi.gov/VoterSearchScreen.aspx?Language=en-us

and to register if they're not already. People should register NOW, don't take our same-day registration for granted. We'll be losing it soon, thanks to the republicans, but in the meantime, you know there will be more and more challenges, so we need to be proactive.

Don't even take your own registration for granted. I know some people who have voted in the same town for YEARS, and were suddenly dropped off the rolls before the last election. If we hadn't had same-day registration, those people wouldn't have been able to vote!

2. Thank You for this!
I am glad to have more information - I had instinctively assumed some of this, but it is important to be a nit-picker so everything is flawlessly legitimate.

5. If you have that capability provide the ability for them to verify their registration at the site.
