If you aren't in Madison today, please join Reps. Donna Seidel, Amy Sue Vruwink, and Louis Molepske at the Labor Temple.

Area Legislators to Discuss Rallies for Worker Rights

Wausau – Central Wisconsin Democrats will hold a press availability on Saturday, February 19th at 2:00pm to talk about the activities that took place at the Wisconsin State Capitol this week. After Governor Walker introduced his mini-budget last week Friday, Republican leaders tried to rush the 144 page bill through the Legislature in less than a week. In the process they ignored the voices of tens of thousands of people who made their way to Madison to oppose the bill.

WHO: State Representative Donna Seidel

State Representative Amy Sue Vruwink

State Representative Louis Molespke, Jr.

WHERE: Wausau Labor Temple

318 South 3rd Avenue

Wausau, WI

WHEN: Saturday, February 19, 2:00pm

2. Packed in like sardines
The room was packed and pumped. In addition to Donna, Amy Sue and Louie, there were several others that spoke including the former state rep. Marlin Schneider. Several union leaders spoke as did Ed Gale from the city council and Jane Rusch for the Wausau school board.

We have great elected leaders down in Madison.
