observation # 3817 on lawn signs
The shabbiest house on the block always has a McCain sign. If you know my story at all you know that I'm not going to talk smack about people down on their luck but I do wonder about the IQ of people clearly struggling to get by and yet who are still willing to support McCain. Being poor is no crime but being a dumbass ought to be.

1. Got one in my county - on a farm where the house is rubble
A decaying family farm is really the perfect backdrop for puke signs, IMHO.

3. yard signs
Long time lurker, first time poster. :)

I was biking around Lake Monona, in Madison, the other day and noticed something about the signs. All of those on my left were Obama signs and all of the houses were in the $200,000 range. All of the houses on my right, which also happened to be waterfront property, were in the $2,000,000 range and were half Obama signs and half McCain signs. I guess i shouldn't be too surprised that millionaires will vote for the guy, but I have no idea why poor people will- I guess that racists really are stupid!

5. observation 3818??
Used to have kids in cub scouts and over the years they did food drives where you hang a printed bag out and a week latter you come back and hopfully they have put some cans of food in it for the food pantry.

While participation by residents has never been very good, I have noticed over the years, that houses with republican yard signs were less likely to participate in the food drive than houses with
democratic yard signs.

It is just sad
