McCain pulling out of Michigan to beef up in WI, OH and FL
So yay we get to look forward to even MORE ads :eyes: Part of me thinks this is going to be a landslide victory for Obama but another part of me is scared to be optimistic. I think I'm going to take off work Nov 5 to either celebrate or mourn.

Anyway, the following is from Crooks & Liars

"John McCain is pulling out of Michigan, according to two Republicans, a stunning move a month away from Election Day that indicates the difficulty Republicans are having in finding blue states to put in play.

McCain will go off TV in Michigan, stop dropping mail there and send most of his staff to more competitive states, including Wisconsin, Ohio and Florida. Wisconsin went for Kerry in 2004, Ohio and Florida for Bush."

2. I don't think its going to be close in Wisconsin this time.
Yesterday I drove through the "rich" section of Madison where the Governors mansion is. I expected to see lots of McCain signs there but it was 50:50 by the most enormous homes. Through the rest of the neighborhood it was ALL Obama Biden. Four years ago it was much more of a mix. I think the Republicans are sick of the Republicans, or smart enough to be afraid of getting stuck with President Congeniality.
