Drinking Liberally meets this Wednesday! 6PM onward at Sugar Maple on Lincoln

Dear DUers,

Please join us this Wednesday for Drinking Liberally!

We meet at Sugar Maple, 441 East Lincoln Avenue, just off KK in Bay View. Sugar Maple is a new, smoke-free bar with 60 beers on tap! We’re easy to find: Just look for the usual liberal suspects in the front of the bar.

Just to be clear, while Drinking Liberally is NOT part of the Obama campaign, everyone except the Republicans who come (we get a few) are in the Obama camp. Also, we do not have any Obama gear, but if someone could please bring some, I'm sure it will be happily received. (Someone has already volunteered some -- thanks! The more the merrier of course.)

We’ll have one more Drinking Liberally before the election on October 15.

Eating Liberally, Milwaukee's social eating club, meets all around the Milwaukee area at 6PM on the FIRST Wednesday of the month. Our next "eating" will be at 6PM on Wednesday, October 1st at Beans & Barley, located at 1901 E. North Avenue on Milwaukee's upper east side.

We'll be gathering at Bella's Fat Cat in Bay View for a post-election day Eating Liberally on November 5th -- hopefully with something to celebrate!

Eating Liberally eats on the 1st Wednesdays, at different places, at 6PM;

Drinking Liberally meets on the 3rd Wednesdays, always at Sugar Maple at 6PM.

*** Finally: If you live in Waukesha, Wauwatosa, or anywhere else for that matter, you can start a Drinking/Eating Liberally chapter! Write back if you're interested. It's pretty simple to do, and lots of fun at that.
