Hello Wisconsin!!
I'm back again for a few days. 4 interviews for 5 jobs between now and Wednesday. All are either 2nd or 3rd interviews. I'm also looking for a place in Wauwatosa to live.

wish me luck.

Oh, and can someone either post or PM the details for Drinking Liberally on Wednesday?

Thanks!

:)

7. Got my fingers crossed for ya!
And THIS time, we WILL be there! Promise!

Lots of good interview vibes coming your way!

As a new native to this area, I'll also recommend Enderis Park, which is technically considered Milwaukee, although it's nestled up next to 'Tosa.

The area is bordered by approximately Lisbon, North, Center, and 76th St.. I LOVE it here. Do NOT want to move when our lease is up-- the neighborhood is full of friendly liberals with dogs, kids, or both. Example? The name of our neighbor's spastic Goldie-Poo? Berkeley. Ya gotta love it!

8. Thanks!
I'll try and drive the area looking for "for rent" signs. I've got to find a place on this trip. I'm not driving up here again without all my stuff. ;)

9. I was there last year.
Check Craig's List a lot. We found something on there when we couldn't find anything anywhere else.

We needed a house with central air (because of my MS) and a place that would let us have a cat and a 100 pound dog. It wasn't easy, but we did it!

:D

10. I found a place
the first place I looked at. The rent isn't high for the place but it's higher than I wanted to go. I need a job offer so I can put the deposit on it. It's on a corner lot next to a beautiful park and the house is full of arts & crafts and mission details - all original. Two beautiful stained glass windows flank the fireplace.

I'm in apartment love...

:)

13. Isn't the architecture here gorgeous?
I love these gorgeous old bungalows. Always wanted an older place when we were in Texas but reprehensor was convinced that our energy bills were going to be higher than getting a newer place.

Now, he has no choice. Older places are all we can afford. My evil plan worked! :D

You'll have to give us more details tomorrow. As soon as we get our own non-rental place and get a bit of work done on it, be prepared to attend lots of parties and such. I LOVE to entertain! :D

Hope you have an offer in hand any minute now...

go lizziegrace go!! :-D That's wonderful news.

We haven't met -- I'm Jason, eyeroll's squeeze/S.O, host of Drinking Liberally. I'm expecting a few conservative types at tomorrow's festivities, so I look forward to having all the help I can get in goading them on. ;-D

So you then!

18. You've got a much better nature than me
I can't goad without being mean. This is why I try to avoid non-liberals when at all possible. But I'm still there tomorrow! Woot!
