Hillary in De Pere Sunday!

Is anyone heading to De Pere Sunday to hear Hillary? She will be at St. Norbert's College at 2 pm Sunday, the doors open at 12:20. Barak Obama's wife spoke there at few days ago so I guess Hillary decided she needed to come to De Pere also.
I feel very lonely up here so if anyone does come up to De Pere, let me know and maybe we can meet up someplace.

2. I don' t know what kind of reception she will get in De Pere . . .

not exactly a Democrat hot spot . . . but there was standing room only for Barak Obama's wife. Heck with 15 feet of snow on the ground, what else is there to do in De Pere! (Sorry Hillary, I really do like you!)
P.S. I have had several people ask me so here goes, yes, it is a doll, I make them! I took her to the library for pictures and thought she could do a little "light reading" while she was there. I put her on Ebay and someone actually emailed me and said they wouldn't buy her because she was a Democrat! LOL! That's okay, she found a good home at a good price anyway.

3. not sure if this is still on due to weather concerns . . .

I stuck one foot outside the door and it is a solid sheet of ice. I see most churches are cancelling services today but haven't seen anything official on whether this is still on. But I doubt if I will try venturing out as I haven't seen a snow plow or anything out.

I got a robo-call this afternoon. Same place (St. Norbert's?), doors open at 8 a.m.

I hope it doesn't freeze overnight. There's enough ice under the snow.
And yes, we cancelled church today.

5. Any flack yet from the Green Bay Diocese yet?

St Norbert's is a Catholic college and there is pretty much an unwritten rule against any Democrat speaking at any school for any reason. I would expect the extreme pro-lifers to blow more than a few fuses over this.

Start time: 9:30 a.m.
Doors open: 8:00 a.m.
Admission: Free and open to the public. No tickets are required.

Security:
-security measures, which will include metal detectors, will be
in place.
-no hand-made carry-in signs will be allowed.
-no backpacks, bookbags or similar will be allowed.
-cameras and cellphones will be permitted.


Edit: Yep, not the Diocese (between Bishops now I believe) but the anal Cardinal Newman Society is freaking out. I expect Relevant Radio in the area will also go nuts. They are also freaking out about the upcoming speech at Marquette University.
