On a positive note, as I was putting out my new Feingold yard signs,
two people honked and waved. :hi: :hi:

If you haven't gotten your Feingold signs yet, they're (finally) in, at least at the Madison and Middleton offices.

I don't know if this has been discussed here yet, but I talked with some Feingold staffers about the upcoming primary. Despite the fact that Russ is running unopposed for the Dem nomination, they are asking that people vote for him, not try to play games by voting for the weakest repug. (they've gotten a lot of calls about this)

Not only is Russ not into playing games, but it will be a nice show of support if he gets a good showing on primary day while the repugs are busy duking it out.

1. Yes, vote for Democrats in the primary
I'd especially remind people in the 5th district that it's important not to cross over. Bryan Kennedy has a good shot at getting rid of Jim Sensenbrenner, but he needs to win his primary first. Let the Republicans fight it out among themselves and use your vote to further the long overdue retirement of JS.

2. There will be a lot of crossover voting in Clark County
Our local slimeball reptillian assemblyman, Scott Suder, is trying to play games with the Dems' county primary races so I imagine there will be loads of Dems crossing over to set him straight and vote him out of office on the Republican primary.

While the dems are there, I imagine there will be plenty of them voting for Sen. Feingold's opposition as well. Although it would send a marvelous message for Dems to cross over only to vote against Suder and not put another mark on the ballot. That way he would know exactly how many Dems kicked his ass out.

4. I recently walked in a parade for our local dems and ...
handed out Feingold lit and stickers while wearing my Feingold T-shirt. I had a number of very positive comments about the Senator. It was enough to keep a spring in my step.
