1. I might be in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this Thursday
Who is Gwen Moore running against?
Is Sensenbener, the major asshole, still in office?

2. Yeah, Sensenbrenner is still in office
But we have a few good men taking him on.

Gwen Moore is running for Rep. Gerald Kleczka's seat. He's "retiring" after this term.

3. I hope you can make it! Where are you?
Gwen Moore is running in the Dem primary against Tim Carpenter (good guy) and Matt Flynn (okay guy). There are three RepubliCONs running in their primary, but Milwaukee's a pretty safe Dem district, so whomever wins our primary should win the seat.

Yes, "Puffy Jim" Sensenbrenner is still in office, in the suburbs to the west of Milwaukee. He finally has a formidable challenger in Dem Bryan Kennedy.

...went to the elections office and voted early for Gwen Moore! Very cool.

And Rep. Waters is as sweet as cherry pie. I can't wait for the rally tonight.

8. What an awesome event!!
Now THAT was a political RALLY. Too bad most of you missed it. A celebration of powerful, compassionate women: Gwen Moore, Maxine Waters, the Honorable Vel Phillips, Kathleen Falk, Polly Williams, a 102-year-old community activist and more. Truly inspirational.

10. You bet, Bushfire.
Gwen can use all of our help now. Two weeks to the primaries. We have momentum, now we just need folks to help us keep it going. I even have a friend in Tosa, a different district, who's offered to help. I know you have school and work, but if you can do anything to help it will be MUCHO appreciated.
