1. The best thing about Dean's field organizer
is that all but one, iirc, are Wisconsinites. They worked hard to find experienced people from the region for the four positions. No more brand new poli sci grads from New Hampshire telling us how we ought to do politics here. My NW organizer is working hard with each county, large or small, rural or urban, to try to come up with unique strategies that make the most of local resources.

As a party member, it's nice to see this kind of effort rolling a year ahead of the typical election season in Wisconsin. A regional field organizer is quite a luxury to have and I am more than pleased with the job Howard Dean is doing.
