The speaker is Ray Maida, a retired Madison police detective whose 22 year old son was killed in Baghdad in May.

1. Ray Maida was at the Madison vigil tonight
He just spoke for a moment. He went to the peace rally in DC and met a soldier who was injured seriously in the same bombing that killed his son Mark. The soldier told him that before Mark's death he had said when we get home, lets go to every anti war rally we can find. Mark died, so his father has become an antiwar activist to honor his son.
I can't wait to hear him speak more about this tomorrow.
