Wise readies his resume for life after Statehouse

Gov. Bob Wise has his resume ready.

He's got a law degree, 18 years in Congress and four years as West Virginia's governor. Now, he needs someone to hire him when he leaves office in January.

"My son and I finally worked out my resume," Wise said in an interview last week. "I needed my 16-year-old son to help me get it all set up on the computer."

Still, Wise said he's struggling with how to proceed on his job search. He said he's definitely moving back to Washington, D.C., with his wife, Sandy, when his term ends. He's eyeing a career in government consulting.
