My condolences to those in Upshur County.
I got home from work tonight to see that CNN reported that 12 miners at the Sago Mine were reported alive only to find out that were dead and only 1 has been found alive and fighting for his life. I saw joy and happiness quickly replaced by sadness and anger.

I send my condolences to the families and friends of those who died. It is just horrible.

John

I went to bed when I heard some of the miners were alive and actually well enough to reunite with their families waiting at the Baptist chruch. The news which came later was devastating.

As a daughter and sister of coalminers, this has been an especially difficult story for me. I'm just so sorry for all the families and friends. cmd

5. I used to live in Buckhannon.
Lived there for a year while my husband taught at West Virginia Wesleyan.

I am so, so sorry. My prayers go out to the familes and the community at large.

6. I also offer condolences to WVA mining community.
My family were all UMWA miners in Fayette Co. I cannot express how badly I feel for the family and friends of the miners who were killed.

7. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be be for the families
My heart goes out to those from my native state. We had a mine death in my brother-in-law's family years ago of a young man just starting out his life.
