I just got word that Rep. Norm Dicks signed on as a cosponsor for HR 676 this morning. This comes right from Rep. John Conyers’s legislative counsel Mike Darner.

First, congratulate yourselves for getting through to Norm with your insistent, consistent voices.

Next, let’s make the Monday, June 29 demonstration a thank-you to Norm for coming through. Yes, we still have to make Senators Cantwell and Murray know they need to step up, too, and we need another event that lets the media know that this is real and it’s what people want.

I’m going to make sure my sign thanks Norm. I’m also going to call and thank him. But I’m not going to back down on Murray and Cantwell. Hey, gals, Norm finally got it. How about you?
