11. Yup.
But I saw a headline in the Times the other day that said not all the ballots had been mailed yet.

Just in case anyone's interested, here's the King County Young Democrats' list of recommendations for the initiatives and other nonpartisan choices:

I-297 – Yes (regulating hazardous waste)
I-872 – No (limiting voters’ choices)
I-884 – Yes (creating an education fund)
I-892 – No (extending gambling)
R-55 – No (charter schools)

Seattle I-83 – No (Monorail recall)
KC Charter Amend. 1 – No (To reduce council)

Of course, vote for all the democrats too! ;)

15. Got mine last week
Haven't voted yet. I'm deciding whether to mail it early and be done with it, or to hold onto it until 11/2 and hand deliver it to the Thurston County auditor's office and make sure those Republicans ain't cheating ;)

17. I got mine when I came home from Oregon last Sunday.
I got to voting and had it sent off on Monday morning. Proudly casting my vote AGAINST Bush, Rossi, Cassady, and for the Monorail among others.

18. I did not receive mine
So I called the auditor and asked if there were any "shenanigans" going on. They said I sent in a form indicating that I did not want an absentee ballot this time. (I did not)!

So, she mailed me one and I walked it to the office, taking no chances this time. I live in Thurston Co. where our newspaper The Olympian endorsed Kerry. I loved this quote from their editorial:

"President Bush's label of Kerry is a condemnation of the legislative process. Voters understand that U.S. senators such as John Kerry cast votes multiple times a week and that those votes depend on what is included and excluded from each. Lawmakers adjust to priorities. A legislator might vote for a program in one bill and against the same program in a different bill because of what else is included in the legislative proposal. That's not flip-flopping. That's being conscientious."

21. Yup!
Got it in last week.
I talked to the county auditor voting lady yesterday, and she told our democratic luncheon group that Ferry County already has over 40% of the mail-in ballots returned, and she's forecasting an astounding record-breaking 84% return for ALL registered voters. This IS a traditionally Republican County, so I'm going to be interested to see the vote when it's tabulated Tues nite! Since we live in town(Republic) I think I'll mosey up to the courthouse just after 8pm and pick up the preliminary results.
I love small towns!

Bruce
