No one seems to have caught this last week. As this short article reveals, there has been a ruling by the Washington State Pharmacy Board that pharmacists cannot refuse to fill prescriptions (birth control and emergency birth control) because of "moral" objections.
YES!!

The new rule emerged after patients complained that pharmacists were refusing to fill prescriptions for emergency contraceptives, including the morning-after pill Plan B.
The rule, adopted by the Board of Pharmacy, covers any valid prescription.
Pharmacy owners must make sure another pharmacist is available to fill a prescription should a pharmacist refuse to do so. If a drug is out of stock, the pharmacy must restock the drug and can refer a patient to another pharmacy.
