Excellent volunteer for Kerry in NOVA;-20+ hours a week; Can starts Now!
My daughter is a bright 21 year old who is taking a reduced load at college. She was going to work but suggested that she should volunteer for Kerry/Edwards in VA 20+ hours a week. I've agreed to cover her bills, etc. to make this happen. She's a born salesperson who will do whatever the campaign wants on a regular basis from now through election day. She did an internship for Bob Matsui (D, CA) her senior year of HS and she's a total Democrat.

Can someone give me the best contact information in the Northern Virginia (we're in the Reston/Herndon area but she'll travel).

Either leave it here or send it to my mailbox.

Thanks!

3. Yes she did!
She says he was AWESOME. I was totally impressed that HS students could do capitol hill internships. Her boyfriend at the time ended up working for MdCain...amazing stuff. Good luck and feel free to share the post with him...some reinforcement for all his good work. She plans a career on Capitol Hill working for a hard core DEM!!!

6. What a small world
I had Graney for philosophy last year, I have Small for political science though. Thats awesome, what a small world we live in. Graney is a dem, he fessed it up, tell her that, he tries to play both ways.

4. Have her call the NoVa Kerry HQ in Fairfax.
It's at 2722 Merrilee Drive, Suite 310
Fairfax, VA 22031
703.207.2004

It's right off Lee Highway, at the Home Depot, across from the Merrifield Post Office.

She would be more than welcome over there. They can use all the help they can get.

The office opened over a month ago.

7. No Problem. And she can just head on over too.

They are usually open by 9am and the place is bustling practically all the time. So, tell her to feel free to just stop in and sign up on the spot. If they know she has legitimate "free time" as you say, they may have something for her to do pretty much right away.

And I can assure you that the parking is usually not a problem and while the area is basically the old industrial/business park of Fairfax, the building itself is extremely nice inside and very clean.

**Actually, this is a Joint Campaign Office, so K/E are there as well as the congressional candidates of No Va, so there are lots of opportunities to be involved over there.**
