Allen ads everywhere 3-1 Allen over Webb this last weekend

That could very well be, every where I listen and watch it is nothing but Allen ads all over the place. Webb is out there too but it has to be atleast 3-1 Allen.

The funniest thing (aside from the inane Soc.Security ad runnnig on TV) is that in the car listening to the local Beck-Rush-local idiot-Hannity on tape delay station WRVA Friends of Allen are on there so much that their "Webb hates women" ad actually repeats in the same commercial break. Why is Allen advertising to the base????

I think that all the political experts tried to apply the same template here in Va and it backfired. Allen went hard negative which might work in places where they have become immune to political ads but we haven't here. It seems to me that they jumped over the normal course of hardening the senses to this type of ad and Virginians just aren't ready yet for that type of thing. Real or not there is stil a "Oh my" little old lady sense around here.

I will say that on Wednesday the first ad that I saw was Webb with a positive ad about himself in which he closes with "I am Jim Webb and I respectfully ask for your vote" Allen has an ad like that too but I have seen Webb's positive ad much more than the one time I saw Allen's.

as well, pretty much shutting him out of any hope for running for Prez, he wouldn't have the time to raise the funds. His ads are sounding more and more desperate.

2. Here in Roanoke

I'm seeing more Webb ads during local tv news than official Allen ads. More anti-Webb ads from 3rd party PACs are running now though so the overall is probably more pro-Allen ads than Webb ads. I don't listen to the radio so I don't know what's happening there.

that is the group running the ad about Soc.Security and aliens.

Wow what a steaming load that thing is. I love the implication that who your Senator is determines what Soc.Sec. laws applies to you.

The RSCC and the DSCC are both running other ads as you know.

Richmond should be fairly well partitioned off but apparently they feel the need to get the base out. Maybe it really is that bad.

"Gray's Anatomy" was filled with ads last night.

4. I think I am seeing more Webb adds in the northern corner.

Our local stations broadcast out of Washington and the cost is high. I see the same stations as Tweety. Maybe Allen has given up on us up here where the voters are multi-ethnic.

My former precinct had a high Indian population and was very blue. So maybe Indians have always been blue.
