For those of you not on his email list:
Jim Webb for U.S. Senate Born Fighting
This week, Virginians witnessed something we don't see much in these parts: George Allen. Yes, George is in the midst of his "Announcement Tour" -- we're just not sure what he's announcing.
You see, a couple weeks ago, George Allen let Virginians know that he's bored in the U.S. Senate, complaining that "It's too slow for me." So no matter what he says he's "announcing" this week, we know one thing for sure: George is really hunting for a new job -- U.S. President.
Between frequent trips to Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, we know it's hard to keep up with George's Journeys. Virginians haven't seen too much of their junior Senator because he's been out traveling and pandering to the early 2008 GOP primary states.
That's why we've created a new website to help you keep track of George's latest travels.
Track Senator Allen's travels via "George's Journeys" today!
http://GeorgesJourneys.comThis week, George Allen refused to commit to completing his term if re-elected. No surprise that George has no problem being a "Short-Termer."
And clearly, George Allen has already been practicing how to be President for quite a while. During his time in the Senate, he has supported George Bush 96% of the time.
Not having to think about how he's going to vote on issues in the Senate gives George the time to fly across the country and peddle himself in his presidential beauty pageant.
Want to see what George Allen's really been up to instead of serving Virginia in the Senate? Check out "George's Journeys" now!
http://GeorgesJourneys.com/Virginians deserve a full-time Senator. We need a thoughtful, independent leader who will stand up for our interests, not a Senator who panders to GOP primary voters in other states while he auditions for his next job.
So while George Allen is busy cozying up to presidential campaign heavy hitters like Mary Matalin, Jim Webb will be traveling across the state, discussing the issues that matter to Virginians. In fact, over just the next week, Jim will be in Arlington, Hampton Roads, Richmond, Virginia Beach, and Wakefield (for the 58th Annual Shad Planking) meeting with voters, listening to their concerns, and fighting for their issues.
But if you're looking for George Allen... well, good luck finding him. To keep up with George, we encourage you to visit GeorgesJourneys.com and come back often because we'll be updating it regularly. And after you visit our handy new site, please forward this message to 5 of your friends today.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Jessica Vanden Berg
