How will they do a recount in Virginia?
The Attorney General's race is now down to what, 347 votes? Clearly close enough for a recount.

So how do they do it? Are there paper ballots? Or are they computerized? Or a little of both? If there is no paper trail, how do they do a recount?

Who runs elections in Virginia? Does Mark Warner have any authority over the recount process?

1. We have both paper and machines
I know that some of the machines have paper trails inside of them but I don't know about all of them. Some counties also use old style lever machines and opitcal scan. The recount will begin after the votes are certified on November 28. The secretary of state is appointed by governor warner so at least she isn't a hack like Harris or Blackwell. I really hope Deeds pulls through.
