A majority of Virginians disapprove of President Bush’s handling of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, a Mason-Dixon poll released Friday shows.

Bush also took a hit for his handling of the war in Iraq, with a majority also disapproving of that.

Overall, Bush’s job performance rating from Virginia voters has dropped by 16 percentage points - from 58 percent to 42 percent - since the last Mason-Dixon poll, released in October 2004.

I was there this summer and the people were beautiful!

Lovely country.

Now if they can just vote for Democrats more.
