How about some input from DUers on Creigh Deeds
...the Democratic candidate for Virginia Attorney General?

I've seen the website, I've talked to his communications director, I've researched the articles in the Wa Po and the Richmond and Roanoke and Falls Church newspapers. Don't need any links (thanks anyway).

The Mason-Dixon poll is a dead heat, he appears to be in great shape with cash-on-hand, and his experience is light years ahead of McDonnell as well.

Can he win? Will he win?

Just wondering what YOUR personal impressions of the man (and for that matter his opponent and the race) are.

1. There are no impressions.
I've noticed very little press coverage of anything but the governor's race.

2. It may still be a little early
your election is in November, right? And the silly season usually kicks in after Labor Day.

I'll say this, you've got a good group up there:

3. I think Deeds
has a great chance. He is from SW virginia and is more moderate than McDonnell. He will also probably be endorsed by the NRA which is a big plus. I haven't met him but I think he is a good man.

5. i'd say this is a coattails race.
if kaine wins, he might pull the ticket for Atty. gen. and lt. gov as well.

6. I hope you are right...but...
...let's keep in mind that we presently have Attorney General Kilgore...not McEachin!

I've met Deeds...he's a great guy so let's work hard for him as well.
