Austin: Start your new year with George Lakoff and DFT!

On Wednesday, January 5, our meetup returns to Scholz’s at 7:00 p.m. We’ll be joined by DNC member David Holmes to talk about the selection process for DNC chair. Then we’ll view renowned linguist and progressive thinker Dr. George Lakoff’s DVD, “How Democrats and Progressives Can Win.” We’ll follow the DVD with some exercises designed by Dr. Lakoff to help us practice “framing”—the word that’s on the lips of all progressives these days. This is a perfect opportunity to bring a friend and introduce them to both Lakoff and DFT.
