Texas College GOP Leader: Obama Assassination ‘Tempting’
Brain dead people.

Hours after Pennsylvania State Police arrested a 21-year-old Idaho man for allegedly firing a semi-automatic rifle at the White House, the top student official for the College Republicans at the University of Texas tweeted that the idea of assassinating President Obama was “tempting.”

At 2:29 p.m. ET, UT’s Lauren E. Pierce wrote: “Y’all as tempting as it may be, don’t shoot Obama. We need him to go down in history as the WORST president we’ve EVER had! #2012.”

Pierce, the president of the College Republicans at UT Austin, told ABC News the comment was a “joke” and that the “whole was stupid.” Giggling, she said that an attempted assassination would “only make the situation worse.”

1. Another Daughter of Republican-protected Privilege Safe From Hassling Because Of IOKALAYAR
Edited on Thu Nov-17-11 12:02 PM by Vogon_Glory
Another spoiled daughter of Texas Republican-protected privilege exempted from law enforcement scrutiny because of IOKALAYAR. If this were a Republican presidential administration or if she came from a humbler background, she'd be undergoing yet another interrogation by the Secret Service or somebody in Homeland Security about now.

2. These young republicans are really twisted
“Insofar as she’s a representative , maybe it shouldn’t be said, but she’s made a positive statement in a way, ” said Cassie Wright, the group’s vice president.

She (Lauren Pierce) made a positive statement?

:wtf: is wrong with these people!

Attempted Assassination Charge in Shooting at White House, Prosecutor Says

An Idaho man accused of firing two shots at the White House last week has been charged with attempting to assassinate President Obama or his staff.

Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, made his first court appearance before a federal magistrate in Pittsburgh on Thursday, one day after he was arrested at a western Pennsylvania hotel. He will be taken back from a federal court in Pittsburgh to face the charges in Washington, D.C.

Ortega will remain in federal custody at least until a magistrate in Washington can determine if he should remain jailed until his trial on the charge, which carries up to life in prison.

6. Especially since she tweeted it
Not like she said it to herself only. Posting it on Facebook or twitter is the same thing as putting it out on the airwaves - threats should be taken seriously.

I'm sure lots of people that get charged with crimes, would love to say "I was only joking" and get a free pass.

5. The nut thinks he's Jesus
when would Jesus pick up a gun to kill? I don't care if he thought Obama was the anti-Christ, Jesus would not have killed period.

This guy needs to be in a mental institution and get real help. He's crazy like the guy who shot Gabby Giffords and killed those 6 people in Arizona. Jail is going to do nothing for this guy. He's probably listening to too much hate talk radio.

8.  “you’re with us or you deserve to die.”
That statement really does capture the thinking by the right wing. The alleged party of "life" thinks a whole lot of people should die. :banghead:
