Poll: Should Gov. Rick Perry drop out of next Saturday's prayer and fasting event?
Needs a little DU lovin'.

No. Every American, especially politicians, needs each word of prayer they can get. (69%, 58 Votes)
Yes. Prayer isn't something you should flaunt. (15%, 13 Votes)
Maybe Perry should pray that God will be his running mate? (16%, 13 Votes)

Total Voters: 84

1. Those are not very good choices
Me thinks that poll is rigged. Where is the "more sensible option". I mean if you vote "Yes" it looks like you are against all religion which is not the case. I personally think people have the right to pray and that should be personal choice. I just don't think political leaders should be "leading" a prayer session especially when it is primarily one dominate religion. It's not an all faiths type of event. Perry is just campaigning in essence for the religious right wing vote.

Then our second option is more of a joke "Perry should pray to God to be his running mate". Well that while funny is not a better option.

I voted for "yes" but our votes are being diluted by having two not so good options.

There should have been a more realistic option for the opposition like "Yes Perry is just using the event to pander to his base".
