Texas keeps up fight over EPA regulations

As the battle of lawyers and congressmen continues, there is more environmental news coming out of Austin. Gov. Rick Perry has decided not to act on a bipartisan request by 30 lawmakers from D/FW to have 20 more air monitors installed in North Texas to monitor the drilling in the Barnett Shale.

Perry, who used his power as governor to mandate sonograms before abortions, abolish sanctuary cities and require voter ID and legislation calling for a Constitutional Amendment for a balanced budget -- all as emergency items -- opted not to add this request to that list.

1. Funny how they can always find money for litigation against the Fed
As long as it subscribes to their philosophy - fight the Fed on health care, EPA, public education etc. They always find money for lawyers.

And their the side that hates frivolous lawsuits supposedly.
