The right wing agenda

It's sad that millions of Americans are so badly misinformed as to what Rick Perry, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, John Boehner and other right-wing Republicans really stand for. Here is their real agenda:

• Destroy the middle class. Create a society in which a few multimillionaire corporate executives and CEOs control almost all the nation's wealth. Almost everyone else will be dirt-poor.

• Do away with almost all regulation of business with no regard for the consequences. Allow American industry to ignore pollution, unsafe working conditions and unsafe products so they can increase their profits.

1. After reading the piece from the San Angelo paper link, I realized.....

.....that this was a letter to the editor, probably online. I would have been shocked if it had been an op-ed, or opinion column in that paper. That is all Republican country, and I read some of the replies to Mr. Clover, spouting out the usual Repub. platitudes and negating everything he said. Kudos to Clover for pointing out some things that that part of the state needs to know.

2. Clover is a brave soul - bravo

Whats' so sad about this is that so many are fooled by this agenda and fall right in line in destroying their own lives. Somehow they think this applies to everyone else but not them. "It's those other people who are creating big government and raising my taxes - I don't get anything from the government but grief" mentality.

That is until the lose what they have.

3. Hypocrisy

Has fueled this country since its inception. It's the only way that slave holders could speak of liberty with a straight face.

Delusion has obviously overtaken it, but I'm not sure when...
