correlation between property tax rates an political control
Edited on Thu Sep-09-10 11:00 PM by BrightKnight
I have heard a lot of tax and spend rhetoric but I have not been able to find any correlation between property tax rates and political control. Some of the reddest communities have the highest tax rates.

I am in favor of reasonable taxes, fiscal responsibility, and good government. How is getting our roads from Rent-A-Center fiscal responsibility?

Someone was reciting tax talking points and I hit him with that. I think that he blew a head gasket.

1. The only info I see from the link you posted is that Dallas pays more...
property taxes than any of the other areas, yet we're the poorest and least developed. Although, this is what happens when a city has to fund a county hospital, along with a corrupt, and under performing school district.
