5. A quick explanation

Glad to hear you'll give it a shot! Basically, we post links to our Google Group (http://groups.google.com/group/texas-democratic-defenders) which will probably attract negative comments. From there, the group members will post comments in response to the smears in the webpage comments or discussions section. The daily article postings are simply a springboard, and we encourage the Democratic Defenders to scout out other stories which may attract negative comments.

6. Okay, cool! I see how it works. Just fyi, I already post comments at the DMN...

almost everyday. The neo-con comments at the News are brutally racist, so I could REALLY use some help over there from you guys. I try to keep a calm and level head the way President Obama would do, but sometimes I FAIL bigtime :(

Any suggestions as to how to respond? For me, a lot of times, I get into the Bush bashing which probably isn't the best response, but the posters try to blame EVERYTHING on Obama. They CONVENIENTLY forget that Bush was the one that caused all of the problems in the first place. I remain respectful even though they post some pretty nasty things.
