The whining continues. In an apparent concession that Texas will NOT secede from the Union again, Rick Perry has joined his many supporters who do not want to help their fellow men because it "might" cost them a buck or two. Just in case. Wouldn't be prudent.
Never mind that the most popular/populist plans would actually cost the entire country less. In Texas, it's every man for himself - oops, I mean, we're rugged individualists. And Taxes? We don't want no stinkin' taxes.
