Any hope of flipping either house of The Ledge(as Molly Ivins used to call it)?

(It'd at least be great if that ultrapermed busybody who tried to shove the voter ID bill through could be knocked out, though she probably has all Tejanos, blacks, LGBT's and union members shot on site at the polling stations each year).

What about Congressional races?

Or is Dub's Koolaid still being relentlessly chugged down there?

I admire you guys for hanging in their in hazardous terrain.

1. Very good chance
We need to pick up 5 Texas House seats to take control of the Texas House. We have many good candidates and 3-4 look very, very favorable I hear. But no, Voter ID republican Betty Brown, is not one of the races we think we can take back.

Our best shot at a Congressional race pick up is Democrat Michael Skelly TX-07 who is running against "failure" John Culberson. He's on the DCC list and he's a very smart businessman in wind energy who is making energy his calling card. He raised more money than Culberson.

Moving Houston forward, creating jobs for the future etc.

We're very hopeful that Harris County (Houston) will turn blue this year too.
