The Mid-Cities Democrats will be hosting an Ice Cream Social on Sunday, July 20th at the First United Methodist Church in Colleyville from 3PM-5PM. The address is 5601 Pleasant Run Road in Colleyville.

For a suggested donation of $15 for non-MCD members, and $10 for MCD members, enjoy the musings of political journalist, New York Times bestselling author, and nationally syndicated columnist, David Sirota. Ice cream, and all the fixings, will be served.

David Sirota is the bestselling author of Hostile Takeover: How Big Money & Corruption Conquered our Government, and his new book is The Uprising: An Unauthorized Tour of the Populist Revolt Scaring Wall Street and Washington.

We will have copies of The Uprising for sale, compliments of an independent bookstore, and David will sign any and all books you bring or buy.
