Seen tonight on Hardball
a HUGE, or as the donald would say "yooge", orange sign saying "TX 4 KERRY!!"

just gets me right there, ya know. it's my #3 wish for nov. 2.

my wishes are, in order of importance:

#1. Kerry is elected president by landslide margins in both the popular & electoral votes.

#2. Morrison defeats Delay. (don't live in district 22, but as the daughter of my irish daddy, i just LOVE irony.)

#3. Kerry carries Texas!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

i'm on an email list that's doing visualizations on a kerry victory for nov. 2....60 seconds every day....maybe we could start adding an additional visualization for putting Texas in the Kerry column????

dare i dream?

4. not a website
a 60 second period of what i, in my efforts to be all-inclusive, call "meditation, prayer, affirmation, hard thinkin'" ;) focusing on kerry winning by landslide margins on nov. 2. i want to propose that we do this plus an additional 60 second period of "Kerry carries Texas." :)

either one. anytime of the day....everyone's got at least two minutes to do this & it can't hurt!!! (might feel silly, i have a friend who says he feels like a :+ but it's for a good cause)

10. I do this!
I hadn't heard about an organized effort - but every time I see a funny time on my computer clock (2:22, 10:10, 12:12, etc) I practice these kind of visualizations.

I'll now try to keep my focus on victory, whereas I had simply been visualizing truth-telling.

5. Been checking online polls and Texans voted for Kerry and Edwards
as winning their respective debates. Would be great if Texas went for Kerry. Hear so many online from the "red" states say they can vote for Nader as their vote won't count anyway in the electoral college. The Naderites "say" they don't want Bush but for some reason say they can sleep better if they vote their conscience and vote for Saint Ralph. Well my conscience says no more unecessary deaths in oil wars for Bush.

6. Cool on the visualization...
I've committed to 15 minutes of prayer/meditation/visualization daily also. I'm goingt to incorporate it into a daily meditation. I'm originally from Texas and OMG...what a dream for him to loose Texas!
(do people know he's not REALLY a Texan and that he was actually born in Cn.)? I mention that whenever I can slip it into a conversation.

8. Count me in on visualization
I not only dream these things at night, I dream them all day. We have the power, and I have the hope that the American people (and especially us in Texas) will move the right way.

Keep the faith, keep visualizing a better America and Texas and keep working our butts off to make it happen.

9. do you listen to morning sedition
on aar? they have a short spot of kerry's acceptance speech w/bruce springsteen in the background. i swear to god, everytime they play it, i want to stand up, yell, scream, & start celebrating like we've already won. i can SEE the victory parties, i can SEE myself screaming my head off, jumping up & down with all the folks i've met because of this campaign, celebrating!!

i'll be watching the debates tonight with fingers crossed. i want kerry to do extremely well tonight!!
