Interesting Harris County voter registration stat...
Houston's KPRC channel 2 news just said that in the last 2 weeks of voter registration, 47% of registrations were for people under 30 years old!

That's awesome! Go Young Democrats!!! Welcome to the Party! :grouphug:

2. I think so....
The way the quote read was like it was in the "last 2 weeks of registration," not during the past 2 weeks. So I think they meant the last 2 weeks prior to the deadline.

I was a registrar last year. I didn't get it done in time for the primaries this year, but I will make sure to do it soon to be useful for the GE.

5. Tonight at the Obama rally...
a stat was mentioned.... don't know if it is verified, but it was said that there were 10 times more voters for the first day of early voting than there were 4 years ago (I hope I got that right... I am in sensory overload!LOL)
