I heard about something in Dallas at the Lakewood Theater by some lawyers association, but the suggested donation is $250.

Anyone know of any other decent sized ones in DFW? The last one at Gilley's was wonderful. The energy and camaraderie was the best.

1. It's a long drive for you, but it's free!

Fort Bend Democrats is having free hot dogs and apple pie again. We have a big-screen tv and one of our members has an outstanding sound system he sets up for us.

We had about 100 people for the last one. Cleaning up afterwards, everybody whined, "This is haaaard work." And there were a few Polish jokes, too.

9. Dallas Parties

There are two: The official lawyer's party at the Lakewood, which is requested $50 donation to go to the KE GELAC. Good cause, if you've got the dough, please attend.

Then the unofficial poor people's party at Patricia's house. Backchannel me for details, especially if you are in East Dallas. :D

At least 3 in San Antonio. We went to the debate party at SA Dems HQ last Thursday and had a great time.
