REMINDER: The annual Dallas Democratic Labor Day Picnic has moved
The Dallas County Labor Day will be having its annual Labor Day picnic tomorrow - but it will not be located at Fair Park as it has been in years past.

Here's the skinny. The picnic will be held on Labor Day from 1pm to 4pm at the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 100 at 3629 W. Miller Rd in Garland. It's indoors, and it's air-conditioned (yay!). Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson is the featured speaker.

To find the picnic, head north on Jupiter off of LBJ and turn west on Miller Road and look for Democratic signs. The DCDP will be supplying fried chicken; please bring a homemade side dish or dessert.

How many Dallas area DUers are planning on showing up? ginbarn and I may have a few surprises in store for you if we bump into you tomorrow.
