1. The Pink photo
here: http://muse-musings.blogspot.com/2006/08/councilwoman-barbie-baptized-tonight.html

different view: http://muse-musings.blogspot.com/2006/08/make-up-your-mind-shelley.html

She showed up dressed like that to a Memorial Day celebration event in Sugar Land which was pretty serious with speeches, wreaths, etc. Everyone on the dais was in business attire except Shelley.

She looked ridiculous.

She is ridiculous.

6. I thought that up myself
Pretty proud of myself, I must say. :)

I've also taken to calling David Wallace, David Wallet, but I stole that (with permission) from a Fort Bend Democrat.

5. People are already confusing Shelley's name with another local candidate
That would be Sherrie Matula, running for HD-129 in the Clear Lake/Pasadena area. Seriously, real people who must not be real smart, are confusing Shelley Sekula-Gibbs with Sherrie Matula even to the point of asking Democrats why they have a sign up for Sekula-Gibss (it was a Matula sign).

Maximum voter confusion!!

7. I know that historically it was used to keep African-Americans from voting
But maybe we need to revisit the idea of a literacy test.

8. Shelley's awful..
.. I can't stand her.

I think Lampson actually has a chance.

I'm in Culberson's district. I'll vote for anyone opposing him,
but usually he runs unopposed.
