This month, Rolling Stone ran an investigative feature claiming that Republicans used a systematic combination of voter disenfranchisement and fraud, centered in Ohio, to rob John Kerry of a win in the 2004 presidential election.

You can continue reading more of their shamefulness in Greg Palast's book and his on-line columns. The caging lists they used to disenfranchise African-American soldiers is an outrage. And they're the ones who are always complaining that overseas ballots should always be counted. They deliberately set out to make sure Democratically leaning African-American soldiers votes were not counted.

The Republican National Committee has a special offer for African-American soldiers: Go to Baghdad, lose your vote.

A confidential campaign directed by GOP party chiefs in October 2004 sought to challenge the ballots of tens of thousands of voters in the last presidential election, virtually all of them cast by residents of Black-majority precincts.
