UHCL will screen the documentary film 'Outfoxed.’ Taking on Fox: Seven days a week, 24 hours a day, Fox News Channel turns Republican talking points into news headlines. Now "Uncovered" director Robert Greenwald — working with a group of Fox-monitoring MoveOn members — has put together a documentary film called Outfoxed that exposes Fox for what it is: partisan spin, not news.

Grassroots Training with the Texas Democratic Party

The Texas Democratic Party is offering an encore presentation that highlighted the volunteers' role in a successful campaign. The TDP will educate our supporters in many grassroots activities including effective ways to phone bank and block walk. Many who participated in our mid-July session found it very helpful… we hope you can join us!

Description: Join us for a day-long trip on a comfy-coach bus as we travel through District 22 and raise awareness for the Morrison campaign. PLEASE WEAR YOUR BLUE MORRISON SHIRTS.

1. Lisa we met Richard Morrison here in Austin tonight

He was great! I am so excited about Morrison. If we can raise some money for this man and he can get on TV and get his message across, DeLay is toast.

You may be seeing a caravan of volunteers come up from Austin in Sept. They were signing us up to come help.

2. Yes, I heard he was going to Austin last night.

Did you meet Melissa too? She is his volunteer coordinator, and a friend of mine from my Deaniac days. We welcome all the help we can get! Their first poll looks really good! Delay support is weak, but name recognition is high. The more people we can get to help with name recognition, the better!!! Plus, we are targeting neighborhoods with high populations of Democrats to do door-to-door voter registration.
