DFW'ers where to meet for the next get together?

Which part of town we want to hook up at for the DFW get together tentatively scheduled. We can throw up another poll for the type of food and that combined with this will get us a location.

I left off the extremities such as Plano, Garland, Mesquite and the anyplace off of I20 as being too far from center. I also believe the date is tenatively Aug. 7th.

I voted Las Colinas, but am open to other locations.

Would you mind if I do a poll to see what part of the metroplex people who are actually interested in attending will be coming from? Or even who/how many are thinking they can make it on the 7th?

Maybe we need two meets, one for Ft. Worth and one for Dallas?
.. I dunno. I've been totally out of the loop around here for the last little while... so I'm very close to clueless as to what happened last time, etc.

The first meeting was in Dallas. So, I was thinking this one would be in the mid-cities somewhere (really where this poll is focused), followed by another more towards downtown Ft. Worth.

I really would like to get at least two get togethers before the election. For those not hanging out counting votes or at the various headquarters, I would think it interesting to have an election results watching party somewhere. Personally I think it unlikely I would be able to attend the latter as I would imagine it will be a busy night here on DU as well and Skinner will need all hands out on deck.
