Yes. I asked if the electronic machine had a paper verification. With their answer I told them I'd vote on the scanner and why.

Now, I'm trying to figure out the purpose of the option. Do you suppose that whichever method gets the most voters will be the "elected by the people" option?

We have paper and electronic but the electronic machines at our precinct are strictly ADA for the blind, although they could vote an visual ballot too.

That's my guess, actually. I'm betting that your county put in the electronic machines for the blind and has decided to give the other voters a choice to use them because why not, they're already there.

why not call the elections office tomorrow and ask? then report back, I'd be interested.

2. I had that choice too, in Galveston County.

I don't know what the significance of having a choice is.... if it's testing the waters to see how people feel about the two options?
