This is for the State Rep seat, held by Rep Joe Moreno:

Salinas, a single mother making her first bid for office, reported $65,000 in contributions from the Houston-based Texans for Lawsuit Reform, a business-oriented lobby that favors limiting personal-injury awards.

Hernandez, a former aide to Moreno also running for the first time, has received $10,000 from Houston home builder Bob Perry, a top GOP donor and also a major backer of TLR.

I heard that Hernandez was the favored person for the seat. Damn I hate to hear that Ana's already been compromised!
