Early voting starts today
Early voting starts today and runs through November 4 for the constitutional amendment election. Let's all go out and give the talibaptists a good solid kick in the nuts!

2. thinking of voting "yes" on amendments 4, 6, & 7
Anyone have any reason I shouldn't? Am I missing anything?

Thanks!

3. For what it's worth
The Austin Chronicle recommended a "no" vote on everything.

I'm not saying I necessarily agree with this, but it is one of the rare discussions of the Props other than 2.

7. I see David Van Os is also calling for a no vote on all nine
Early voting starts October 24 on the Texas Constitutional Amendments. There are nine proposed amendments. I recommend a vote of NO on all nine. Consider the source. These amendments were generated by one of the most special interest-dominated legislatures in the history of our state. Every one of the proposed amendments serves a Perry-Craddick special interest -- be it banks and big corporations, Rick Perry's political ambitions, or the so-called religious right (which is really the unreligious wrong).

5. Done!
I went and voted just before lunch today (Oct. 24th). I did take leave of one voter's guide's recommendations. I did vote for Prop One to move some railroad tracks.
