Open for Business in Houston (for now anyway)
I drove around West Houston for about an hour to see what was open for business, and thought I'd share for anyone who needs to pick up more food, gas, or wants a chance to get out and about before it gets bad here.

Bistro Provence on Memorial near Kirkwood
Food Store on Memorial inside Beltway 8
Shell on Voss between south of Memorial has gas
Chevron Westheimer at Voss has gas
Dumpling King (didn't get address - Probably on Westheimer near Voss)
Sunny's Food Store in the same area
Exxon Chimney Rock near Westheimer has gas
Fox and Hound bar Woodland Hills center on Westheimer and grill is open
Godfather's Pizza on Westheimer, Carrillion shopping center is open for dine in buffet only
Spec's 11990 Westheimer
Adam Halal grocer 12280 Westheimer

For those who need prescriptions, I heard on the radio that CVS in Conroe is open.

We'll be riding out the storm gourmet style due to Spec's and Adam's halal!

Be careful out there.

1. Yay Spec's!!
I remember the original Spec's where Spec cruised around that big ol' liquor store on skates.

2. Hey Lisa. Stay safe.
Been thinking of you. What was Clear Lake like when you left?

3. Thanks Lisa.
I am hunkering down with my mom, dad, sister, two nieces and one nephew. We have plenty of water and food. We will be doing some heavy praying tonight and tomorrow. Good luck to everyone. Btw, you didn't happen to drive in the vicinity of Kuykendahl and Rankin road area did ya? I would like to order a pizza about now.:-)
