Several made it clear that they were not here to protest the NRA, but DeLay. One of his constituents, 51-year-old Jackie Rico't, a chemical company worker from Seabrook, Texas, held a sign that read: "2nd Amendment Yes; Tom DeLay No."

"I'm not against the NRA," Rico't said. "But DeLay is bankrupt — morally and ethically. We need to take our district back."

if it is the one I think it is, it is a group that had dinner after the protest, but not a DU group. I think johncoby was in there, but I don't recall if any of the others were DUers. We were all going to eat together, but the place we met didn't serve food, and coby's group was headed toward the southeast side to dinner. Since Mr and Mrs Dittie and WestHoustonDem both live in and to the west of there, rather than go south, we just walked dowtown for dinner. I had a camera with me, but it didn't occur to me to take a pic!LOL

I'm identifiable in pic #41, only because I'm facing the camera instead of the street for some reason. The Sky-meister is better at being HEARD than at being SEEN. :)
